AUTUMN/WINTER 2010
The Atlas Design Autumn/Winter Collection 2010 is inspired by three different themes in spirit of the French part of Canada.

The first theme is from the colorful maple tree mood in the surroundings of Quebec. This appears, in the collection, the color scheme with shades from the soil such as grape leaf, russet brown, ermine, oak brown and off white. The French sophisticated heritage does also make a statement in the color palette with sober colors such as navy blue, Port Royal chili red, arrow wood and bottle green.

The second theme is inspired by Toronto and the postwar era, by the Canadian Air Force in the 1940s and 50s. The uniforms makes a remark with its silhouette and details such as shoulder straps, sewn on pockets, chest patches and trims like snap buttons and sewn on buttons in metal. The postwar era has also made an impact on the color palette with its tonal and cool colors.

The third theme is influenced by the nightlife in Le Village, Montreal in 1970s. The theme presents abstract, psychedelic and cubism patterns mixed with typical Canadian tartans and checks taken from the wild outdoor life. The French roots do also contribute to this theme with classic sophisticated stripes, fine structures and exclusive fabric.
