Blue suit. A blue tie always fits together with a blue suit, although it must be lighter or darker than the suit itself. Silver grey has a nice touch and nuances of yellow, brown or red give elegant contrasts. Itís important that the colours are clear.

Green suit. Best matched with a brown tie. Yellow nuances give a fresh look. Red works fine, but be careful, some shades of red might clash with the suit.

Grey suit. Goes together with nearly all colours (except for grey). They have to be clean colours, otherwise the all-over impression might become a little bit sullied. There should also be a contrast between the shades, for instance if the suit is light grey you should wear a darker tie and vice versa.

Brown suit. Demands strong colours since the colour brown is very saturated. Blue, green and deep red is recommended.
